A powerfully touching video tribute to Sarah's mother, Debbie, who recently died of the cancer, went viral within days of being posted, making headlines in the United Kingdom and the United States. When The Lonely Island 's Incredibad first came out, I rocked the eff out of it. The charmingly hilarious look at rock and hip hop through their twisted eyes made me laugh and generally laugh my ass off and their humor was something I thought music was sorely missing. Everything I listened too had gotten far too serious and, well, it sucked.  

A performance video on YouTube helped Fairmont Senior High School's Steel Drum Band land an invitation to 1 of the nation's biggest Independence Day parades. Band director Shawn Dunn says he's accepted the surprise invitation from the city of Philadelphia. He says parade coordinators were surfing the Web for ideas when they came across Fairmont's video, which showed a performance at Buckhannon's annual Strawberry Festival.  

"Make the common extraordinary." That's 32-year-old Tamil Nadu native Wilbur Sargunaraj's motto, and it's what he set out to do when he made his first video entitled "Blog Song." The segment features Sargunaraj requesting people to "please check [his] blog" over and over again in an exaggerated Tamil accent. The purpose, he says, was not to poke fun at any race or ethnicity, but simply to add humor to any given situation.

British virtual band Gorillaz has set a new record for a music video premiered on YouTube, according to a March 11 announcement. The first video to come from the band's newly released album Plastic Beach , "Stylo" was viewed a record-breaking 900,000 times in its first 24 hours on March 2, the day of its release. The "Stylo" clip is a Mad Max -themed video featuring Bruce Willis and the Gorillaz's recurring cartoon band.
